Golden Rose Stick Foundation Review ($6 on Amazon)
Stick foundations have been trending. And I like the idea of the convenience of this product. I been wanting to try a full coverage one. I heard about this product from amazon, so I placed an order. And it came here super quick within a couple of days.
The claims on their website are
"It gives your face an excellent result. Creates natural appearance, good coverage, smooth and velvety skin."
an order. And it came here super week within a couple of days.
I will just go in order of the claims;
Yes, I would say it gives an excellent result (depending on how much you apply and what with.)
No, it doesn't give off a particularly natural appearance. It can look heavy really easily.
Yes, it gives really great coverage.
No, not overly smooth, velvety finish. I would say more of a matte velvety finish.
This product I personally think is best applied with a sponge. It can look a little bit cakey when applied with a brush. I swipe the foundation directly on my face and then use a sponge to help sheer it out. This product has really great full coverage which I personally really like. I just have to remember less is more with this project otherwise it looks really heavy. It also blends out really nicely and layers on top of itself really well. Every time I wore this foundation I was impressed with how long it wore. It was very long-lasting but it did slightly break down in my nose area where my pores are more visible. But that wasn't a deal-breaker for me. This foundation once blended in is definitely a matte foundation but it isn't super drying.
I ordered this in the shade '5' which is very pink. And from what I can see from their website most all of their shades are very pink light/fair toned foundations. There are 2 deeper shades that are also very cool-toned that look like they would make excellent contour colors for my skin tone. Personally, the shade I ordered was a bit too light and just way to pink for me and it just comes off ashy on me. It's a shade though that I can make work because I have more a neutral skin tone. But if you have a yellow undertone these foundations won't work for you.
All in all, I really do like the way this foundation looks on my skin. And $6 for full coverage, yes, please!! I would say if you have a pink/cool undertone to your skin and think that you can find a good shade match, I would highly recommend.
Thanks for reading my review, I hope you found it informative. If you have any questions/comments/requests/constructive criticism leave it in a comment down below or on my Instagram @seizethelook.by.c
Have a wonderful full coverage day!

wet n wild Mega-Cushion Review
I have been wanting to try out these new wet n wild products ever since I saw they were coming out. I think the packaging is so cute and trendy! I refrained from buying everything cushion and only bought the ones I know I would use. There was a highlight and contour cushions. I only bought the highlight because I felt like the contour wasn't a great contour shade for me, too warm. There are 4 color correctors in this collection; yellow, green, lavender, and peach. For me, peach is the only color corrector that I actually find useful. (My holy grail is the Pixi Brightening Peach and it is a miracle worker for under-eye darkness.)
Also, these products are $6 each. Which isn't expensive per se but for wet n wild that's pretty up there in price!!
I ended up picking up the MegaCushion Color Corrector 'Peach' and the MegaCushion Highlight.
One of these products I am really liking and one was a total dud!
Okay, drum roll... I like the highlight and really don't like the color corrector.
I talk about the dud first, the color corrector didn't work at all! It was wayy too sheer and didn't have enough pigment to cancel out any darkness. It doesn't even come out a peach color once swatched or applied. It just came off very light on me but still wasn't brightening. It honestly just did nothing. And I've tried layering under foundation, over foundation, under concealer, and I've just given up on using this. I even tried this on my friend who has much lighter skin than me, cus I thought maybe my skin tone was too dark for this product, but it didn't work for her either. Basically, I don't like this and wouldn't recommend.
Let's talk about something that I did like. Okay, so the highlight has been fun to play with. I tried applying it with; my fingers, the sponge it comes with, a beauty blender, a stippling brush, and other brushes. The applicator it came with didn't work and didn't apply it evenly. I like the stippling brush but my favorite was a beauty blender. This highlighter gives a very strobbed highlight look. It has no glitter, so it gives a natural but still an intense bright look. My favorite way to wear this is on "no-makeup makeup days" I will do every natural face and apply this highlight for a strobe makeup look, and I really love it. This product completely dries down and doesn't need set. But it does also layer really nicely under a powder highlight. I wish this product came in different shades, I really like the formula of this product. But depending on how tan I am this highlight can be too light for me. So if you are any darker than me this product will for sure be too light for you. But if you have light/pale skin this product will be beautiful on you. I almost think it would work on even the lightest of skin tones because it has a pink undertone. All in all, I would recommend this depending on your skin color.
The last thing I want to add is just to say one more time how dang cute I think the packaging its!! lol

wet n wild Holiday Limited Edition
Wet n Wild has become one of, if not my favorite drugstore brand. The golden theme with this collection is stunning. I knew I had to pick up some of it!
Highlighter $3.99
The Wet n wild megaglo Highlighting Gold Bar is honestly breathtaking. Your highlight will be poppin' with this highlight. It honestly performs like a high-end highlighter. I personally really enjoy gold or warm highlight. If you can still get your hands on this I would HIGHLY recommend. (I had a feeling this was going to be a good one, so I bought a back up haha.)
Loose pigment $2.99
Shades left to right: 'Dom & Cherry On Top' 'Ride On My Copper' 'Kung Fu Lightning' 'Heart Of Rose Gold'
I bought all 4 of the loose pigments. Besides the lightest shade Kung Fu Lightning all the shades are very similar. And that's coming from a girl who owns more nude lipsticks than the number of girls a player gets in a month. I can justify almost any makeup purchase and I will say if you buy 1 you don't need the other 2 similar shades.
These are a loose eyeshadow, not a pigment. There is not enough pigmentation in them to be a pigment. These are nice but I wouldn't say run out and grab them. Since they only have the pigment of a normal pressed shadow I would prefer to use a pressed shadow. Just because I find them more practical and easier to apply. But the packaging is very nice and well thought out. If you are going to have a product in a loose form a shiftier is always appreciated.
Lashes $2.99
I bought the eyelashes in the style 'Disco Baller Status.' I haven't used the eyelashes yet, clearly but I thought they would be nice for an extra look. There are little gold crystals on the outer lashes. They look pretty but you can tell they aren't super well made and aren't a natural-looking lash by any means.
Overall I think wet n wild did a great job with this collection, there were also some nail polishes and some lipglosses that I passed out on. I personally don't want to own any more lipglosses with glitter in my collection just because I use them so rarely. But they had super cute packaging and the color selection looked really nice. The take away from this should be that the Gold Bar Highlight is 10/10.
