Too Faced Eye Shadow Dupes

Today I have some Too Faced eye shadow dupes for you! This is going to be shadows that are cheaper than the original and from the drugstore. All of these color matches for a higher end shadow. These dupes are also going to be formula dupes. I think they both look the same and wear the same on the eyes.

You can see in the swatches that colors are pretty dang close if not exact duplicates when swatched next to each other. These colors look the exact same on the eyes. (the too faced shadows are on the left.)

The dark brown in the quad I found a dupe for in the NXY natural eye shadow palette. They are both great shadow at deepening up any eye shadow look. It is a nice neutral shade, not too warm.  The matte white highlight shade is also a very similar shade. My favorite matte highlight shade is from Wet and Wild and it is sold as a single. The shade is in 'creme brulee' (it is shown in the bottom picture.) Best part is that its only $1 and its super creamy and pigmented. This palette also has some other nice shades. To be honest I'm not in love with every single shade in this NXY palette but over all I would say it is worth the money and is a nice eye shadow palette.

The wet and wild comfort zone palette has two great dupes for this quad. The pink shade is very similar to the eyelid pink rose golden shade. Now the shade that inspired me to do this whole post is the iridescent blue/brown shade. It is such a fun shade to play around with and looks so cool on the eyes. Now what even cooler is that I prefer the wet n wild shade over the high end shade. I think the drugstore shade wears better on the eyes than the Too Faced shade.
I love the wet and wild comfort zone palette! I would recommend this one over the NXY natural palette.
I have a full post about the wet and wild comfort zone palette HERE.
You could buy one eye shadow quad or all of these drugstore shadows that I think are just as comparable. I'm not trying to knock on this Too Faced quad, I really enjoy this and I think the colors work nicely together. I just wanted to show some dupiclcates in my collection! I hope you enjoyed!

Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm as a Facial Primer

If you watch a lot of beauty YouTube videos chances are that you have heard about this product. Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm was discovered by NikkieTutorials to use it as a facial primer. You put this on before you do your makeup, let it soak in and then apply your makeup as normal. The reason this works well as a primer is because it has glycerin in it. This really helps the makeup adhere to the skin and last all day. This product is hyped about a lot on YouTube and I personally wanted to try it out and give my two cents.
Now I have been trying out this product for over about 2 months and I have really come to like it. Big disclaimer this is a men's product and it smells like one!  Once it is on my face I don't smell it but during application it is a strong male scent. I personally don't mind the scent and it really doesn't transfer the scent to my face. Just thought I would mention in case that is a deal breaker for someone.
I have acne prone skin, I have been very open about this. I was a bit concerned that this product might irritate my skin but I never found that to be the case. It fact I would say it has rather a calming feel to the face. Okay, so the real question does it work well as a face primer? Does it help with the longevity of my makeup? Does it help the makeup apply more smooth? The answer to all of these question is undoubtedly, yes!  It really is amazing just how much longer my foundation and overall makeup seems to last when I use this product. Now, for reference this isn't going to be like a Benefit porefessorial type product. In other words this is not the type of primer that going to fill in pore. This is the type of primer that is going to help makeup goes on smoother and lasts longer.
That's not even the best part! This product is only $5.54 and you get 3.3 fl. oz! Typically you would get 1 fl. oz. in a primer that is from an actual makeup brand, and many full-sized primers don't even come with an oz. So this product is super super affordable, which I love! So overall I would highly recommend this product. I mean you really can't beat that price!

My Spring Nail Polish Picks 2016

My top three spring nail polish picks. I picked these for both the formula and the color selections.

Julie G nail polish is in color 'Santorini.' It's the perfect blue shade for spring its bright and light but not too colorful. I love this color and I love this formula so much. Also these polishes are only $4! Unfortunately, they are not super easy to come by. The only places I have ever seen them for sale at is RiteAid or online on their website.

Revlon Colorstay nail polish in the shade 'Vintage Rose.' I bought this on sale at Target last year for around $3 dollars but normal it is closer to the $7 price range. I linked one that is for sale for $3.20 online. I love this shade it different from other pinks that I own. Also this formula is super creamy and goes on smoothly.

The last polish is Formula X in the shade 'Delightful.' This is a great neutral shade but is still such a fun shade in my eyes. Formula X is sold at Sephora. This is the most expensive of the three nail polishes at $10.50. I'm not sure that all shades from this range would be worth the price point. But it is a very nice formula, definitely one of my favorite formulas I have ever tried. And I really do enjoy this shade very much.

I hope you all have a lovely spring!

This Haul is Pure Gold; Target Haul

Besides the shadow sticks this whole haul is from Target. The Milani shadow sticks I picked up at the dollar store actually.  I am loving everything that I bought!! I'm semi obsessed with this color scheme. Everything in my life could be white, wood, gold and blush. (and of course rose gold, obvi.) This is my life color pallet. The clock was just such a cute find. I couldn't help but pick it up plus it was only $9. The makeup brush holder and the canisters were both on sale. I couldn't find this bush holder anywhere online. Shoot, cus it's gorgeous! Lastly, I picked up the cutest little ceramic hedgehog ever. He's gold and is wearing a pink party hat. I could cry actual tears he is so cute. Yup! I love this haul, a haul lot. See what I did there?

Review Free Ulta Gift Spring 2016

Right now if you spend $19.50 on Ulta brand products you get this bag of Ulta brand products! Its an $88 value. Included in the bag is a $5 coupon that can be used toward Ulta brand products in the future.

In bag there were 2 different lip products. One was a matte lip cream and the second was a typical lipstick. The matte lip cream came in a nice dark shade. I didn't enjoy this product very much. I feel like
I had to layer and layer the product up to get it to be pigmented. But the product didn't layer very well, it would bunch up and be patchy. I feel like this wouldn't be as noticeable with a lighter shade, but in this dark shade the formula just isn't great. The other lip product is a lipstick in the shade 'Mauve Me'. This product was alright, it didn't wow me. It has more of a sheer formula but it did layer nicely. So you can build up the color and it becomes a nice shade.

This is a blush and highlight duo. I was not a fan of this product. It lacked pigmentation and was super glittery. On the cheeks it just looked like I had straight glitter on my face. Also you can see in the bottom picture that it is super powdery and patchy. I would not recommend. It reminded a blush you get as a little girl from a Barbie kit at the dollar store.

The packaging on this was so cute! It was a beautiful floral print. And the shade range looked nice for spring. But my impressions were similar to the blush. They are powdery, lack pigment, and are packed with glitter. But not enough to be a glittery shadow, just specks of it. When you wear these shades on the eye they don't hold their own. The shades just mesh together and it doesn't look like there are separate shades on the eyes.

This product was my favorite from the bag. It's a green based primer. This product is going to help cancel redness. I feel like it does reduce the redness; the green blends in nicely and doesn't show through my foundation. I feel like it also helps my foundation go on more smoothly. I can't really say for sure if it helped prolong the wear of my foundation, but when I wore this my foundation wore nicely throughout the day.

This was awful. I will not be using this again. It's such a hard formula and the product wouldn't transfer. Also it would crumple off in chunks and get everywhere. I hope that this a just a throw in product and that this isn't their standard eyeliner that you can buy.

I liked the idea of this product, seemed convenient. But this wouldn't remove eye makeup. It would just rub it around but not pick it up.

These brushes are very soft. They haven't shed too much on me either. I just don't like the cut of the bristles, I feel like they need a shorter edge to better apply product. They definitely do not hold onto the product. I think the ELF Studio line brushes are nicer. Those are only $3.

I like this color. Its the perfect spring color! I also like Ulta brand nail polish. It's not my top favorite formula but it is nice.

I liked this mascara at first. I thought it made my eyelashes look nice. But it didn't wear well throughout the day. It would flake and crumble off throughout. I would have black flakes all over my face. So I wouldn't recommend.

This brow pencil has a similar formula to the eyeliner, with that hard formula. However I find this product more usable than the eyeliner. This eyeliner isn't great, a good brow pencil from the drugstore that I would recommend is Loreal brow Stylist Definer.

I wish this review wasn't so negative, but honestly these product weren't very good. I'm sure that there are some products from the Ulta brand that are great. These just weren't them. I'm going to see if I can find some better products in the future.
