Not too long ago someone asked me if I prefer doing my own makeup or other people's makeup. I had never thought about this prior to being asked this question. I initially assumed I preferred to do my own. But the more I thought about it I realized I much prefer doing others more than my own. I love being able to help other people see their inner beauty. To study a face and be able to enhance their most beautiful facial features. It never ceases to amaze me how every person has a totally different face from one another. Certain techniques that look amazing on some face aren't as equally flattering on others. While switching techniques up and customizing a look to a specific person, to create a look for just them, I live for this. We each have an individual face that God himself created. And we can enhance that with makeup; to help others achieve this brings me so much joy. We all have a unique beauty and I really love that.

Current Skin Care Favorites
The Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +
Mario Badescu Facial Spray
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream $30 for 6 oz
I got a sample of this product a few months back and I knew that I needed this product in my life. I thought $30 was a little steep but you get soo much product for the price. So I was able to justify the price. My only gripe with this product is that the packaging is not hygienic.
The Ultra Repair Cream is my current obsession! It has changed my skin for the better. My skin has been dry, dull, and overall not been doing too well. Since I have used this cream my skin has been AMAZING. I sleep with this cream on my face every single night and I honestly wake up with amazing skin. It has healed a lot of my acne scarring and improved the texture of my skin. It leaves my face just a very balanced level of moisture, it leaves it hydrated without feeling greasy or oily. I also will apply this other area on my body where I may have dry patches or other areas that could use the extra hydration. This product is a miracle worker and I would highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone!!
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ $26 for 4.2 oz.
I have been using this product as my day moisturizer. And I don't feel as passionate about this moisturizer as I was the previous one. I have really been enjoying this product but not a 100% recommendation like the Ultra Repair Cream. I feel like this product wouldn't work for everyone like the previous one. This would only work for people with dry to normal skin types. I feel like this product would be too greasy for people who have oily skin and it wouldn't absorb quick enough. But for my skin type (currently dry or normal) it has been working really well for my skin. It is super hydrating. I also love how the packaging and I love the fact that this comes with a pump! I feel like if something has a pump it is so much more functional and hygienic. I've been loving this to wear under my foundation. It helps my foundation go on really smooth.
I have heard a lot of great things about this spray and recently caved and bought this. I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner! It is surprisingly affordable. I will use this spray through out the day. I will spray this over my moisturizer for extra hydration or I will set my makeup with this to take away the powdery look. It doesn't prolong my makeup wear time but it helps my face makeup to look more natural and less powdery makeup looking. If my face is feeling dry or needs refreshed I use this. I feel like it leaves a little bit of a sticky feeling to my face. I don't love the smell. I feel like it helps hydrate but I don't love how it feels on my face. But I love that it's pink! (But don't worry it doesn't have any color transfer!)
Overall I would say for the price it's worth trying but I don't plan on repurchasing.

My 'Deleted' Instagram Pictures Magically Came Back!?!?
So... remember how I made a big deal about my Instagram pictures that got mysteriously deleted. Well.. They came back!!!! I have no idea what happened or how they came back. All I know is that they are back! Which is super exciting! Also, this is interesting because I made a big ole' post about having a clean start and just doing it over again. I don't have to start over anymore so I don't think going to by choice. Now my current goal is to just keep my content and quality up. So back the regular programming now! I have tons of ideas for blog posts/ possible upcoming video ideas!! But I would like to create content that everyone would be interested in, so if you have any suggestions/requests leave them in the comments down below or leave them on Instagram @seizethelook.by.c

MY INSTAGRAM PICTURES MYSTERIOUSLY GOT DELETED!?!
I was reading up on this, and this is happening to other people also. Instagram is trying to fix this and the cause isn't known.
So if you get this notification DON'T click it, clearly haha. I had over 100 photos and now I only have 6. I'm still going to post, I'm just going to start over. I just want to say that I'm not upset, I was just really confused. I'm just going to look at this as a good thing. I have the opportunity to have a fresh start and it wasn't even my doing. I'm going to delete the last 6 photos just because they are old aren't overly relevant and just so my clean start can be completely clean!
One other thing I learned my lesson on, is that after I would upload a photo on Instagram, I would delete it from my camera roll on my phone because I figured it was on the internet now so if I ever needed the picture I could go and screenshot it. Now I lost a lot of my photos because I did that. I still have some of them because they would be on my blog. But some of them I just don't have any more :(
So please don't unfollow me, because I'm still going to be posting! And if you aren't following me, my user name is @seizethelook.by.c !! I'm also getting a new camera this week, so the quality should be going up as well which is exciting!
I'm going to be more careful from now on. I changed my password and I'm going to be looking out for other things going on! Things are going to going back to normal now!

Wet n Wild Pop Art Collection; with Lip Swatches & Lashes
This limited edition collection has 6 lipgloss's ($2) , 2 pairs of eyelashes($3) and 4 nail polishes($2).
I bought all of the lipgloss's because I'm a makeup addict and the colors and packaging was so cute! Plus you can't beat the price. I also bought 1 pair of eyelashes, neither pairs were very wearable for me but I thought these could be fun look! I didn't bother picking up any nail polishes because luckily for my bank account I don't hoard nail polishes like I do makeup.
(I got the fist at Ross for 6 bucks!)
Shades left to right: Lilac Theater, Very Well Red, Raised on Good Corals, Strawberries and Femme, Violent in Furs,& Jackie a la Mode.
Online it is described as ultra-slick, high-shine jelly finish, sheer-to-medium coverage, moisturizes and conditions.

I will say that these colors are not created equally! 2 of these are total duds, 1 is okay and the rest is an amazing formula! I will be talking about each shade individually. One thing that I think does apply to everyone is that since it is a lipgloss it is not long-wearing at all and like any lipgloss will need to be reapplied throughout the day.
I will be going through the shades in lightest to darkest as per the website.
(In all of the lip swatches I am wearing them alone with no lipstick ect. underneath)
*BOOM!-ROASTED*
This first shade is "Jackie a la Mode." And unfortunately, I'm going to be starting off this review with my least favorite shade. The best way I can describe this color is milk. It just looks like milk sitting on the lips. The color is not even and looks patchy on the lips. And I swear it looks like I have a << milk mustache around my lip lines. Worn over a lipstick the shade is much more wearable but on its own, I would not be reaching for it again.
Lilac Theater was the first shade I was drawn to in this collection, I thought it was a very unique shade that a drugstore brand normally wouldn't put out. But this shade ended up being the one that I said was okay. I found it to be a little bit streaky and didn't want to layer very easily. But if I took the time to go back and forth, I could end up with a nice look. When it comes down to it, this was not my favorite formula wise from the collection. But if you are interested in the color, I think for the price it is worth the money.
*THIS IS MY FAVORITE (or possibly the next) IS MY FAVORITE SHADE*
*WHAM*
This color is called "Raised on Good Corals." First of all, this is an adorable name. The "ultra-slick, high-shine jelly finish, moisturizes and conditions" is a perfect way to describe the next 3 shades. The formula is amazing on the next 3 and I feel really on par with what a lip gloss should be.
"Strawberries and Femme" is another great shade.
And in all honesty, it doesn't look very different on the lips from the previous shade, but I'm still really glad to have this shade also. They are both comfortable on the lips. Just such a great formula! I love the color pay off!
"Very Well Red" looks like a bright pink on the lips. Not a red, the shade is not accurate to the name. I still think it's a clever name maybe it just should have been used on a different shade. (It does swatch accurate to what you see in the tube.)
*KA-POW*
This color is the last one of the bunch that I found the formula to be great! I would recommend the 3 that I specified with the good formula! The fact that you can get this good of color pay off from a lipgloss really is impressive!
*SIGH*
"Violet in Furs" is the final shade in the collection. It looks really nice in the tube but the actual color looks nothing like the color you see in the tube.
This shade is PATCHY, doesn't apply nicely on its own or layered over a lipstick. I would NOT recommend this shade. I know I said the first shade was my least favorite but now I think this might be worse...*CC is NOT a fan of this shade*
In all of these pictures, I am wearing these lashes in the style "Mad for Mood." It was my first time wearing them and I really liked them! I didn't think I would like them but they were more flattering than I was expecting. For me, I won't be getting a lot of use out for them. They are not very wearable for me (but I'm not a huge lash wearer, to begin with.) I found them very sturdy but still flexible, so they were very easy to apply and stayed in place for a long time. I did use my own lash glue, mainly because I couldn't figure out how to open the glue that came with the lashes... Also, I prefer a brush on glue rather than a squeeze tube. I did not find these to be an overall comfortable lash either. The whole time I was wearing them I could feel and almost see them. It's not a lash I could simply forget I was wearing falsies. Also, IDK if it's just me but I think these lashes could be a drugstore 'dupe' for KoKo Lashes in "Stella." Just even less separated than the KoKo ones.
If you like the look of easily being able to count your individual lashes, these are the ones for you. With the wet n wild ones, I count 7 "spikes" of lashes. I can count more with the KoKo ones. I personally am more of a fan of fluttery lashes for a more natural look.
I hope you enjoyed my review if you have any questions leave them down below!

Tattoo Junkee Liquid Lipstick + Glitter Kit
It is a liquid lipstick and a glitter for $7. I picked mine up at Walgreens but you can also buy them here:
I got them in shades: 'Skinny Dip,' 'Bubble Gum,' & 'Pucker Up.'
Skinny Dip is a (I hate using this reference but people get it) Kylie Jenner shade, neutral brown shade and comes with a copper glitter. The second color is a wearable light pink that comes with a iridescent silver lilac glitter. The last is a true red lipstick with red glitter.
They can be worn alone as liquid lipsticks or layered together to create that glitter lip.
Let me just say that I love these.
This product claims to be long-lasting, smudge-proof, and to dry matte. This does all three beautifully. This product seriously lasts all day. It is very drying on the lips, I won't lie. It has a true liquid lipstick formula.
To create the glitter lip you apply the liquid lipstick then press the glitter on top of it before the liquid lip dries. I find that it is easier to not do the whole lips at once. I will do the whole top lip before moving on to the second. I do want to say that glitter lip is not comfortable on the lips, you feel it on your lips the whole time you are wearing it. Also, I would not recommend eating with the glitter on your lips, I find you will end up eating glitter. Which is not as glamorous as it may sound. More often than not I'm just going to opt to wear the matte lipstick alone. The glitter lip can be fun just not that wearable for me. But I have used the glitter as eye shadow and I want to attempt the glitter brow trend with these suckers. I find it to be a good solid glitter that can be used for anything you could any glitter for.
Glitter and a liquid lipstick, what more could a girl ask for?!
Wearing 'Skinny Dip' alone on my lips.
Wearing 'Skinny Dip' alone on my lips. With the glitter that comes with the kit in my inner corners.
I am wearing the 'Bubble Gum' shade with the matching glitter layered over.
You get the point, this product is worth the $7.
