Physicians Formula Butter Collection Palette

Long time no blog. You know its gotta be something exciting to get me back to that blog life again. I know like every makeup lover has probably already purchased this or watched a million reviews on this. But I actually feel like I have different opinion from a lot of other reviews that I have seen!

I bought this at Walmart for $11.88 in the light to medium palette. It also comes in medium dark (that I now wish I would have purchased instead).
It comes with the bronzer in the shade "Bronzer"
Blush in "Natural Glow"
Two limited edition highlights to this palette the gold one is "Full moon" & the pink in "Galactic"
And the Eau de Toilette in the scent "Butter Paradise".

The Pink Highlight is soooo Glittery I would never wear this again unless I was going for an editorial look. The yellow highlight is a little bit deep for my skin, which surprised me. But its workable. The highlights are cream highlighters, they apply nice with a brush, sponge, or fingers on top of makeup. The blush I haven't tried before but it is sooo shimmery. It's like a blush and highlighter in one. (I think I would have preferred the blush in the deep set because its seem like more of an actual blush.) The bronzer is favorite bronzer ever. I do think the formula is the same but its not the same shade as the single bronzer in "bronzer". As pictured below

Top swatch: the one from the palette. Its significantly more shimmery and lighter.
The net weight is 0.17 oz.
Bottom: the normal Butter Bronzer
The net weight is 0.38 oz
(the bronzer in the deeper set seems a little deep and less shimmery)

Wearing the bronzer, blush, the yellow highlight from the palette.

Me wearing the normal Butter Bronzer. The blush and the pink highlight from the palette.

Finally, my thoughts on the Butter Paradise scent, which is limited edition. Which I think is crazy of them to have it be limited edition.  It smells like the scent of the butter products form the line, which is one of my favorite smells in the whole world. It's not super long lasting but as far as an Toilette goes I think its pretty good and worth trying.

I think all in all its TOTALLY worth the price the pan sizes are about half as one full sized product but one full sized product is around $14. So its totally worth your money!
So if you're interested pick it up at your local Walmart asap because its limited edition!!

P.s. honestly even if nobody reads this it feels nice to be doing a blog post again and put my thought on makeup out into the world. So they don't keep me crazy in my own brain, or worse my husband has to hear endless thoughts on makeup haha.

Laura Geller Gilded Honey Highlighter Review

I have heard so much about this highlighter and I've been anxious to try it! So when I had a gift card to Ulta, I was able to justify the price and picked this up! And I do not regret it one bit! It totally lived up to the hype. I love this highlighter! The golden hue that it gives the face is so flattering on my skin when I have at least a little bit of a tan going. I know that the range has other colors but this is the only one that I have personally tried. This shade wouldn't work for every skin tone. When I don't have a good tan going, it is a little too dark. I would assume it would be ashy on deep skin tones as well but I don't personally know. The formula is so creamy and pigmented. It wears on the skin beautifully. You can really pile on this product for that glow that can be seen from space or it can also be worn sheered out. Both ways look beautiful. This has been the only highlighter I have wanted to use ever since I picked it up! If you want to spend the money on a high-end highlighter, this would be my number one recommendation. Also, it doesn't hurt that the packaging is adorable!

I did https://www.instagram.com/letutus/ makeup a couple weeks back and used this highlight on her. I loved the way that this looked on her!

I am also wearing this highlight in my 70's makeup look! You can check out this post here:
